We are asking that in order to protect you and all of our patients and staff that you do not bring unnecessary people or children in the office with you to your appointment. Everyone except for the patient will be asked to wait in their car. If you are experiencing ANY type of flu symptoms, please cancel your appointment with us and seek care with your primary care physician.

PLEASE DO NOT COME TO THE OFFICE IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING FLU OR CORONA VIRUS SYMPTOMS. HOWEVER, CALL IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS OR NEED FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS.

We kindly ask that patients please reschedule your appointment if you are feeling sick or displaying symptoms (cough, congestion, fever, chills, vomiting, etc), as a courtesy to our physicians, staff and fellow patients. Our office does not have test kits and will not receive any.

Any calls regarding the virus will be directed to the Polk County Health Department which can be reached directly by calling (866) 779-6121 or emailing COVID-19@flhealth.gov.

If patients are tested positive for COVID-19, we ask that they please send the results to our office or call us to let us know. Please contact our office at (863) 421-7600 for any other questions or concerns.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is responding to an outbreak of respiratory disease caused by a novel (new) coronavirus that was first detected in China and which has now been detected in more than 100 locations internationally, including in the United States. The virus has been named “SARS-CoV-2” and the disease it causes has been named “coronavirus disease 2019” (abbreviated “COVID-19”).
